Michael Stewart
Michael Stewart (born 1971) is an English novelist, short story writer, poet, and playwright born and brought up in Salford, who moved to Yorkshire in 1995 and now lives in Bradford. He is the author of four novels including the award-winning debut King Crow (2011), two short story collections, two poetry collections, and numerous plays. He serves as course leader in Creative Writing at the University of Huddersfield, editor-in-chief of Grist Books, and director of the Brontë Centre for Writing and Research.
