Michael Meyers

Michael Meyer is an American travel writer and professor of English at the University of Pittsburgh. He first went to China in 1995 as one of its first Peace Corps volunteers and has written acclaimed immersive reportage on China, including *The Last Days of Old Beijing*, *In Manchuria*, and *The Road to Sleeping Dragon*.
