Michael Knight
Michael Knight is an American author and professor of creative writing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, born on December 15, 1969, in Mobile, Alabama. He holds degrees from Hampden-Sydney College (BA), University of Southern Mississippi (MA), and University of Virginia (MFA), and is known for novels such as *The Typist* and *Divining Rod*, short story collections including *Eveningland* (winner of the Truman Capote Prize) and *Goodnight, Nobody*, and the novella collection *The Holiday Season*.
