Michael J. Conroy

Michael Joseph Conroy was an Irish-born attorney who immigrated to the United States in 1880 and became a prominent figure in early Anchorage, Alaska. He served as the city's first clerk from 1920 to 1923 and as its second mayor from 1923 to 1924, resigning before completing his term.[1]
