Michael Hunter

Michael Cyril William Hunter is an Emeritus Professor of History at Birkbeck, University of London, and a Fellow of the British Academy. He specializes in the history of science in seventeenth- and early eighteenth-century England, particularly the work of Robert Boyle, and has authored numerous works on early modern science and culture including the award-winning 'Boyle: Between God and Science' and 'The Occult Laboratory'.
