Michael French
Michael R. French is a businessman and author who graduated from Stanford University as an English major studying under Wallace Stegner, and later earned a Master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University.[6] He has published over twenty titles spanning fiction, young adult fiction, biographies, and self-help books, with his novel Abingdon's becoming a bestseller and his young adult novel Pursuit winning the California Young Reader Medal.[1] He divides his time between Santa Barbara, California, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is an avid high-altitude mountain trekker and collector of first editions of 20th-century fiction.[1]
