Michael C Gerald

Michael C. Gerald was a pharmacologist and author known for writing popular science books such as 'The Biology Book: From the Origin of Life to Epigenetics, 250 Milestones in the History of Biology' and 'The Drug Book: From Arsenic to Xanax, 250 Milestones in the History of Drugs.' He began his academic career as an assistant professor of pharmacology at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in 1969 and later worked at the University of Connecticut. Gerald resided in Storrs, Connecticut, at the time of his death.
