Michael Bruce

Michael Bruce was a Scottish poet and hymnist born in Kinnesswood, Kinross-shire, who is known as the Poet of Loch Leven. He died at age 21 from pulmonary tuberculosis in 1767, and his works later sparked a controversy when allegedly stolen by poet John Logan[1][2].
