Michael Bronski

Michael Bronski is an author, independent scholar, journalist, and professor of the Practice in Media and Activism in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Harvard University. Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, he has been involved in gay liberation and social justice movements since 1969 as an activist, organizer, writer, editor, and publisher. His notable works include A Queer History of the United States, which won the 2011 Lambda Literary Award, and A Queer History of the United States for Young People.
