Michael Baggott was a British antique silver dealer, consultant, and author known for his expertise in silver hallmarks and historical silverware. He worked at Christie's and later Sotheby's before becoming a freelance specialist, and he wrote 'An Illustrated Guide to York Hallmarks 1776-1858.'
