Mercedes Munoz

Mercedes Muñoz is a PhD student in Social Psychology at Duke University's Department of Psychology & Neuroscience, expected to graduate in May 2026. She conducts research through the Duke Identity & Diversity Lab and Duke Culture Lab, focusing on how children and adults develop understanding of racial categories, particularly racial self-identification among Latino individuals. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with Honors, Magna Cum Laude from Boston University in May 2021.
