Melvin Konner

Melvin Joel Konner is an American anthropologist, physician, and author who serves as Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor Emeritus at Emory University. He is known for his work on human development, childhood, evolution, religion, and Jewish identity, and he has written several books drawing on anthropology, neuroscience, and behavioral biology.
