McGraw Hill is not an individual author but a major educational publishing company founded in 1888 by James H. McGraw and John A. Hill through their respective publishing ventures in technical journals. The companies merged fully into The McGraw-Hill Publishing Company in 1917 after Hill's death. It has evolved into one of the world's leading educational publishers.
