Mayra Santos-Febres

Mayra Santos-Febres is a prominent Puerto Rican author, poet, and essayist known for her explorations of Caribbean identity, sexuality, and race. Her acclaimed novel 'Sirena Selena' (2000) helped establish her as a leading voice in contemporary Latin American literature, and she has also been a professor at the University of Puerto Rico.
