Maynard Bray

Maynard Bray is an American maritime historian, technical editor, and author known for his work on wooden boats and traditional boatbuilding. He spent much of his early career in marine engineering at Electric Boat and Bath Iron Works before becoming a long-time technical editor for WoodenBoat magazine and a contributor to the Calendar of Wooden Boats. His writings and research have helped document the history, design, and culture of American small craft and shipbuilding.
