Maxwell Bodenheim

Maxwell Bodenheim was an American poet and novelist associated with the Chicago literary renaissance and the bohemian circles of Greenwich Village. Known for his vivid, often controversial verse and prose, he was a prominent figure in early 20th-century avant-garde literature before his violent death in 1954.
