Mauricio A. Font

Mauricio A. Font is a sociologist, director of the Bildner Center for Western Hemisphere Studies since 2000, and Professor of Sociology at the Graduate Center and Queens College, City University of New York. His research focuses on development and reform issues in Brazil, Cuba, and Latin America, as well as international cooperation in the Western Hemisphere. He earned his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and has taught at institutions including the University of Michigan, Rutgers University, and universities in Brazil.
