Matthew Reilly
Matthew Reilly, born in Sydney in 1974, is an Australian author of fast-paced action thrillers who wrote his first novel Contest at age 19 while studying law at the University of New South Wales. After self-publishing Contest, he secured a deal with Pan Macmillan, achieving international success with books like Ice Station and Temple, selling over 8 million copies worldwide across more than 20 countries. Many of his novels, including the Scarecrow and Jack West Jr. series, have been optioned for film by major Hollywood studios.
