Matthew J Kirby

Matthew J. Kirby is a critically acclaimed and award-winning American author of middle grade and young adult children's books. Born in Utah, he has lived in multiple locations including Rhode Island, Maryland, California, and Hawaii due to his father's military service. A former school psychologist, he now writes full-time and has won numerous prestigious awards including the Edgar Award for Best Juvenile Mystery and the PEN Center USA award for Children's Literature.
