Matt Braun

Matthew Braun (1932–2016) was an acclaimed American author of Western novels, writing fifty-six books with over 40 million copies in print worldwide.[1][2] Born in Oklahoma to a ranching family among the Cherokee and Osage tribes, he drew on his fourth-generation Westerner heritage for historical authenticity in works like Black Fox and The Kincaids, earning the Spur Award and Owen Wister Award.[1][2][3]
