MASSAD AYOOB

Massad F. Ayoob (born July 20, 1948) is an American firearms expert, self-defense instructor, and prolific author who has taught police techniques and civilian self-defense since 1974. He served as handgun editor for GUNS magazine and law enforcement columnist for AMERICAN HANDGUNNER, authoring over 25 books including the authoritative texts 'In the Gravest Extreme' and 'Deadly Force.' Ayoob directed the Lethal Force Institute from 1981 to 2009 and now operates the Massad Ayoob Group.
