Mary Virginia Fox

Mary Virginia Fox was an American author born in 1919 in Richmond, Virginia, who spent much of her life in the Midwest. She wrote biographical and juvenile works, including titles such as *Apprentice to Liberty* and *Lady for the Defense: A Biography of Belva Lockwood*, and won the Midwest Writers Award in 1960.
