Mary McDonough
Mary Elizabeth McDonough, born May 4, 1961, in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California, is an American actress, writer, director, and producer best known for portraying Erin Walton on the television series The Waltons from 1972 to 1981. She has continued her career with guest roles on shows like ER, Will & Grace, and The New Adventures of Old Christine, and wrote and directed the award-winning film For the Love of May starring Patricia Neal. McDonough is also an author of the memoir Lessons from the Mountain and an activist for women's health issues, having founded Lupus LA.[1][2][4][5]
