Mary King
Mary King is an American author and political scientist known for her works on nonviolent civil resistance and the U.S. civil rights movement. She served on the staff of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) in the 1960s and later became a professor of peace and conflict studies at the UN-affiliated University for Peace and a Distinguished Rothermere American Institute Fellow at the University of Oxford.
