Mary Katherine Maule is the author of at least 10 books, including her most popular work, *A Prairie-Schooner Princess*, a historical adventure novel about a Quaker family's journey from Ohio to Nebraska in 1856, involving blizzards, the Civil War, and encounters with Indians.[1][2]
