Mary Hurley Moran

Mary Hurley Moran, born May 1, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts, is an American literary scholar and author specializing in British fiction. She earned her B.A. from Brown University in 1969 and M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico in 1975 and 1980, respectively, and advanced to associate professor of English at the University of Georgia. Her notable works include 'Margaret Drabble: Existing within Structures' (1983) and 'Penelope Lively' (1993), along with articles on basic writing and composition.
