Mary Balogh
Mary Balogh is a Welsh-Canadian historical romance novelist born in Swansea, Wales, who moved to Canada in 1967 to teach high school English. She published her debut novel, A Masked Deception, in 1985 and has since written over one hundred historical novels and novellas, more than forty of which have been New York Times bestsellers. She is known for her Regency-era romances and is described as the successor to Georgette Heyer's literary legacy.
