Martin Kohlmeier PhD

Dr. Martin Kohlmeier, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Nutrition and Principal Investigator at the UNC Nutrition Research Institute in Kannapolis, North Carolina, specializing in precision nutrition, laboratory diagnostics, and nutrigenetics. With over thirty years of experience in nutrition research, he leads the Nutrigenetics Laboratory, directs online nutrition education for medical professionals, and serves as President of the International Society of Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics. He is also the founding Editor-in-Chief of BMJ Nutrition, Prevention and Health and has authored key works such as 'Nutrigenetics' and 'Nutrient Metabolism'.
