Martin Handford is a British author and illustrator best known for creating the globally successful 'Where's Wally?' (also known as 'Where's Waldo?') book series, which features intricate crowd-scene illustrations with a hidden character. Born in Hampstead, London, he gained worldwide fame in the mid-1980s and has sold over 70 million copies of his books in more than 30 languages.
