Martin H. Redish

Martin H. Redish is the Louis and Harriet Ancel Professor of Law and Public Policy at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he has been a faculty member since 1973. He is one of the nation's foremost authorities on constitutional law, the First Amendment, federal jurisdiction, and civil procedure, having authored or co-authored more than 110 articles and 19 books. Redish is among the most frequently cited American legal scholars and won the 2021 Daniel J. Meltzer Award for path-breaking scholarship in Federal Courts.
