Martin Fowler

Martin Fowler is a British software engineer, author, and speaker specializing in object-oriented design, UML, patterns, refactoring, and agile methodologies, including his role in authoring the Manifesto for Agile Software Development in 2001.[1][2] He popularized code refactoring through his 1999 book Refactoring and introduced concepts like Dependency Injection and the Presentation Model pattern.[1] As Chief Scientist at Thoughtworks since 2000, he maintains the influential website martinfowler.com from his home in Massachusetts.[2][3]
