Marti Hefley

Marti Lou Smedley Hefley was an American author and missions advocate known for her lively storytelling and co-authoring books on Christian martyrs and missionaries with her husband James C. Hefley. She co-authored the award-winning 'By Their Blood: Christian Martyrs of the Twentieth Century,' which won the Gold Medallion Award in 1980, and other works like 'God's Tribesman: The Rochunga Pudaite Story.' Hefley died at age 70 after a lengthy illness at her home in Hannibal, Missouri.[1][2][5]
