Marti Gold

Marty Gold (1915–2011) was an American composer, pianist, arranger, and bandleader born in New York City. He gained initial fame as a pianist and arranger for the Korn Kobblers, a 1940s novelty band, before establishing himself as a freelance composer and arranger in New York. He is best known for composing "Tell Me Why," which became a #2 hit for The Four Aces in 1951.
