Marni Bates

Marni Bates began her writing career at age 19 with her autobiography Marni, part of HCI’s Louder Than Words series, detailing her struggles with trichotillomania. Her debut YA fiction novel, Awkward, was translated into multiple languages and optioned by Disney Channel for a TV movie. She has authored additional novels including Decked with Holly, Invisible, and Notable, along with short stories in anthologies.
