Mark Z Danielewski

Mark Z. Danielewski is an American fiction author best known for his debut novel *House of Leaves* (2000), which won the New York Public Library's Young Lions Fiction Award, and *Only Revolutions* (2006), a National Book Award finalist.[1][2] Born in New York City to Polish filmmaker Tad Danielewski, he studied English Literature at Yale and film at USC, and now lives in Los Angeles.[3][5][6] His innovative, experimental works have influenced contemporary novels with their intricate structures and multimedia elements.[5]
