Mark Rubin

Mark Rubin is a poet based in Burlington, Vermont, known for his book *The Beginning of Responsibility* published by Owl Creek Press in 1992. His poetry has appeared in prestigious journals including *Antaeus*, *Boulevard*, *Crab Orchard Review*, *Kansas Quarterly*, *Ohio Review*, and *The Nation*. He has received awards such as the Academy of American Poets Prize, Discovery/*The Nation* Award, and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio.[4]
