Mark Lehner

Mark Lehner is an Egyptologist and archaeologist who serves as Director and President of Ancient Egypt Research Associates (AERA). With nearly forty years of research in Egypt, he has mapped the Great Sphinx, discovered parts of the 'Lost City of the Pyramids' at Giza, and directs the Giza Plateau Mapping Project, leading interdisciplinary excavations near the Sphinx and Pyramids.
