Marion Dane Bauer
Marion Dane Bauer is an American children's author born in 1938, known for writing board books, picture books, early readers, middle-grade fiction, young adult novels, and nonfiction. Her novel On My Honor received a Newbery Honor, and she has also been a founding faculty member and first Faculty Chair of the MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts.
