Maria Veloso

Maria Teresa Veloso was a Mozambican civil servant and politician. She worked for the Ministry of Education, was elected to the People's Assembly in 1977 as one of the first 27 women in parliament, and was re-elected in 1986 representing Maputo City. She later worked for the National Institute for the Development of Education.
