Margot Weiss

Margot Weiss is an American cultural anthropologist and associate professor of American Studies and Anthropology at Wesleyan University, where she directs the Queer Studies cluster. Her scholarship combines queer theory, left cultural critique, and ethnographic analysis to examine the relationships between queer sexual cultures, politics, and contemporary U.S. capitalism.
