Margaret Silf
Margaret Silf, born and raised in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, was baptized Methodist, spent her teen years in the Anglican Church, and converted to Catholicism at age 20. In her mid-30s, after studying with the Jesuits, her faith came alive through Ignatian spirituality, prompting her to leave her career as a technical author in the IT industry to pursue creative writing, retreats, and workshops. She is a prolific author of books like Inner Compass, Roots and Wings, and The Other Side of Chaos, making Ignatian spirituality accessible to non-theologians, and now lives in Scotland with a daughter and two grandchildren.
