Margaret Lial

Margaret L. (Marge) Lial was a renowned American mathematics textbook author and educator, born in Sacramento, California. She co-authored over thirty textbooks, with the Lial series becoming a gold standard in math education, and mentored many young women in the field. Lial was active in academic publishing until her death in 2012.
