Margaret Knight

Margaret Eloise Knight (1838–1914) was an American inventor best known for developing a machine that mechanized the production of flat-bottomed paper bags. She was one of the most prolific women inventors of the 19th century, credited with dozens of patents and recognized as a pioneer for women in engineering and invention.
