Marcus Pfister
Marcus Pfister is a Swiss author and illustrator born in Bern in 1960. He initially worked as a graphic designer before publishing his first children's picture book, The Sleepy Owl, in 1986. He achieved international acclaim in 1992 with The Rainbow Fish, which led him to focus exclusively on writing and illustrating children's books. His works have been translated into over 60 languages with more than 30 million copies published worldwide.
