Marcos de Menezes

Marco de Menezes is a Brazilian poet and physician born in Uruguaiana, Rio Grande do Sul in 1968. He has published seven collections of poetry, including 'Fim das coisas velhas' (2009), which won the Açorianos Literature Prize in both the Poetry and Book of the Year categories in 2010. His work explores themes of melancholy, introspection, and the passage of time.
