Marcel Danesi
Marcel Danesi (born 1946) is a Canadian professor emeritus at the University of Toronto, known for his work in semiotics, linguistic anthropology, language, and communications. He has written widely on youth culture, popular culture, advertising as a sign system, and has also produced textbooks introducing linguistics and semiotics.
