Manuel Mujica Lainez

Manuel Mujica Lainez (1910–1984) was an Argentine novelist, essayist, translator, journalist, and art critic known for blending historical themes with fantasy and magical realism. He is especially associated with historical novels such as *Bomarzo* and the “La Saga Porteña” cycle, and is regarded as a major figure in Argentine literature.
