Manly P Hall
Manly P. Hall (1901–1990) was a Canadian-born writer, lecturer, astrologer, and mystic best known for his landmark 1928 book, The Secret Teachings of All Ages. Over a 70-year career, he published more than 150 volumes and delivered thousands of lectures on mysticism, symbolism, religion, and esoteric philosophy. In 1934, he founded the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles.
