Malcolm Rose

Malcolm Rose (born 1953) is a British author of young adult science-based thrillers, mysteries, and crime stories, often featuring forensic science in series like Traces and Lawless & Tilley. A former chemistry lecturer at the Open University and other universities, he began writing as a hobby during his DPhil in chemistry at the University of York and became a full-time author in 1992 or 1996. He lives near Sheffield with his wife Barbara and son Colin.
