Malachy Doyle

Malachy Doyle is a prolific British author born in 1954 in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, who has published over 240 works primarily in children's and teen fiction[1][5]. He grew up in Ireland, studied in England, lived in Wales where he worked in special needs education, and returned to Ireland in 2007 to live on a small island off Donegal[2][4]. His notable awards include the Tir na n-Og Prize for his novel Georgie, an English Association Award for Cow, and a Nestlé Children's Silver Book Award for The Dancing Tiger[2][7].
